So there's a farm right near us that sells cheese. (are you surprised?) Well...I should say--there used to be a farm, now there's this place. We call it the cheese store. (All the milk used to make September Farm cheese is from the family dairy farm.)
And it's the cutest place you've ever seen.
The day Finn and I went there, it was a chilly 37 degrees outside. So we did what the sign told us to do--we relaxed by the fire.
Then I saw these...
so of course I grabbed a cup o' Joe and Finn and I dug in.
There's a little cafe where you can order breakfast or lunch. (If you go for lunch, be sure to try their fried cheese curds...they're amazing.)
The atmosphere is so incredibly charming. It's reminiscent of an old country store where you can get glass bottles of your favorite soda as well as local treats like whoopie pies, soft pretzels, and shoo-fly pie.
Did I mention cheese?
You can sample any of their cheeses (as well as other snacks).
During warmer months, you can sit outside on the huge wrap-around porch. Really it's just a unique experience!
September Farm is graciously giving away a $50 gift card to one lucky MLST reader! So here are the deets:
- Go over to September Farm's website and check out their amazing selection of delicious cheeses.
- Then come back here and leave a comment telling me what cheese you would love to try.
Giveaway is open until 5pm EST, Friday, March 21. One winner will be picked using random.org. This giveaway is for U.S. readers only.
There is a discount code--"MLST" for 15% off anything in their online market.
While I won't require that you follow MLST on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, I sure would love if you did!
Find September Farm on Facebook here.
GOOD LUCK!!
Disclaimer: while I wouldn't refuse a lifetime supply of September Farm cheese, I was in no way compensated for writing this post. Just wanted to share one of our favorite local places with you guys.
UPDATE: Melissa, you're the big winner! Please contact me at kathertzler@yahoo(dot)com. Thanks!
