Well the kid is almost 15 months old, so I figured it was high-time I finished a few projects and give Finn's room a proper reveal. So here ya be.

  3. Love the room! I am curious how you installed the rod for the closet door curtain. We took all the doors off the closets months ago and I am ready to cover the mess up!

    1. Thanks, Bekki! The rod for the closet is simply a spring rod for a shower curtain. It has worked out great for us. (We used to have those super annoying bi-fold doors on there...they were like the first things to go!)

  4. I'm playing catch up myself...been away from the blog world for quite some time and I come back to THIS! Absolutely gorgeous. That rocking horse is amazing. I saw your room in This Old House and it made me happy :)

  8. The rug!!! Looks amazing in there! Actually love everything in the room, including little Finn. That ceiling is so perfect for his "found" style nursery.

  9. Love this room! I particularly like the rug, so cool to see a bold choice in a kid's room. Can you share where you found it? Also, I love the picture of your little boy with his arms raised, as in "pick me up". so sweet!!

    1. Hi there:) I actually got the rug off Craigslist. Saw it and didn't have a place in mind for it, but knew I couldn't let it pass. It was one of those "meant to be" purchases! Thanks for your comment!
