Tracks and lots of them
Marker spots on the table
Super hero books
A mini-me coat rack just their size
And a place for their muddy boots
Snow shovels to help Daddy shovel the driveway
Random piece of candy stuck in our keyhole. I have no idea how to get it out.
A missing fan blade
(Ryder thought it'd be fun to hang from)
And presently (as of yesterday), a missing toilet.
One of Bryce's trains needed a "wash-down" so down it went. And got stuck. And now we need a new pot.
Life with boys is certainly busy! But I'd have it no other way:)

I laughed so hard at the missing toilet. How!?!? I think the marker spots on the table are pretty sweet, you may not today but one day I bet you will be wishing they were still making marker spots.
ReplyDeleteHa! Your post made me laugh! It also brought back so many memories of when my boys were that age :)
ReplyDeleteBeing the Mom of 2 girls, 10 years apart, I have no idea what you
ReplyDeletedeal with, lol...you are a great Mom though, lots more patience
than I would have.
Oh my! It only lasts for 20 more years or so then you can pass then off to wives/girlfriends for them to deal with these decor (and toilet) issues!
ReplyDeleteMy brother-in-law went through the same thing with his kids and the toilet! It is funny the things that children do that make us wonder "what were they thinking?" I'd never have thought of a fan blade though. That's a new one...although my boy did get an idea to load the top of the fan blades with confetti one April Fool's Day to surprise his Dad. The look on my husbands face was priceless. We still get mileage on that story. I love the pic of the three of them from the back...there is just something about watching kids together when they don't know you are there. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh Kat this is all too familiar! I didn't grow up with boys so I had no idea what I was in for. I think they purposefully try to miss when they pee too...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the ticket score too! So great to have an awesome new "fan!"

Ooh! I was considering a ceiling fan in my boys' room. Guess I'll rethink that one! Boys are so much fun!
