Our Living Room

The day you've been waiting for has finally arrived--I'm ready (kinda) to show you guys some "after" shots of my house. I'm a little nervous but shoot, ya gotta pull the trigger eventually so...WELCOME TO OUR LIVING ROOM! Before it's all decked out for Christmas, (which we're going to work on tonight!) I thought it'd be nice to show you some non-Christmas details (like our new floor). I don't even have any before shots to show you right now...I'll try to dig some up here soon so you can see the progress we've made. But here she is as of today...still not completely finished (we need to touch up painting and finish installing trim) but she's come a long way, baby!

One thing I love about our vinyl flooring is the texture of it. It's raised in places (i.e. not smooth) and actually looks pretty darn close to hardwood if ya ask me. And how fun is our leopard print rug?! Got that puppy while shopping at a thrift store on vacay. It's a thick wool Pottery Barn one that I bought for $85.

And here's a shot of our gallery wall that I've never shown you guys. I'll do another post on this soon once the table under it (you can see the top of it in the bottom of the picture) is styled and the trim has a fresh coat of paint on it. It (the gallery wall) was a fun project that accumulated over time. Actually I just stuck those mounted antlers on there today:)

And here's my other gallery wall that I completed a long time ago and of course our ottoman and new-to-us couch and lamps both of which I got for a steal of a deal.
