My Acting Debut

Okay I'm stepping outside my comfort zone today and sharing this video with you guys. My friend Keith (who made a short video of my basement) came over on Saturday to record a cooking lesson by yours truly. I thought it'd be fun for you all to "see me in action" since I'm always wondering what some bloggers sound/look like in person. So here it is: the real me. And I promise I'm not really all "valley girl" in real life...don't know where some of that came from:/

Hope you enjoyed it and maybe even learned a thing or two. The reason I thought it'd be fun to do is because a couple weeks ago I made this as a side dish and posted pics on FB and someone inquired about the recipe. That's when I thought it'd be fun to do a short presentation on it. So there ya have it. Enjoy your Monday and go sautee some spinach:)

Sauteed Spinach

liberally drizzle a pan with olive oil
add 1 TBSP butter to oil
heat on medium heat until hot
add garlic (I used 2 cloves)
sautee for 1 minute
add spinach, salt and pepper, tossing to coat evenly
put lid on and cook for two minutes

  1. I love watching videos of bloggers.
Only 3 problems with this video.
    1. It is not long enough
    2. You didn't show a side belly shot
    3. You didn't say crafts!

  2. Your video debut was awesome Kat, it was so fun to see and hear you...and your sauteed spinach looks delicious. I am going to have to try it, thanks for sharing.

  3. Fun! I have to laugh as I heard a few Katisms. Miss ya girl!
