ReplyDeleteI love the ceiling! Super cute!
ReplyDeleteHave to say, i love the ceiling as well...and the fan. Love how the textures play well together. Very comforting/welcoming room...and it says, " a boy lives here"... but not overly childish. This will grow with him. Love the name Ryder...almost named one of my boys that.

ReplyDeleteThe entire room looks AWESOME! But I especially love the palette ceiling & the gingham curtains. So cool!
ReplyDeleteI am totally digging that ceiling!!! What a cool element to have in a boy's room - so rustic, and it just screams "BOY"! I think I have the same quilt on my son's bed, so that's obviously in stellar taste as well, right? ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to my Room Evolution party!
Just found you on Evolution of Style. What a makeover it is beautiful. Probably not what a boy wants to hear but it is. Love the ceiling! I am hosting my very first linky party today and would love for you to come over and share some things.

I love all the old toys and things around the room. You did and awesome job on the wood ceiling too! I was wondering if we could have permission to use the photography in the gallery portion of our upcoming book? Let me know if you're interested!

ReplyDeleteHey there Trina! Mitch actually wrote a post all about installing the pallet ceiling. You can check it out here. http://www.mapleleavessycamoretrees.com/2012/02/our-refined-pallet-ceiling.html
DeleteMitch thinks the room is 10x10
Thanks for reading and good luck on your project!
Awesome! Love the pallet ceiling! You need to look into a sliding barn door for that closet. There are several to look at on Pinterest. We got the hardware for ours on Amazon for around $70 and made the door out of pine and pallet boards.
ReplyDeleteYes, we actually did make a sliding barn door for that closet! You can check it out here http://www.mapleleavessycamoretrees.com/2015/04/closet-barn-door-ohand-hi.html
