Ryder's Room

It's done! We finished up Ry's room last night. And here are the pics to prove it:) I'll do some follow-up posts with all the details.

  11. Have to say, i love the ceiling as well...and the fan. Love how the textures play well together. Very comforting/welcoming room...and it says, " a boy lives here"... but not overly childish. This will grow with him. Love the name Ryder...almost named one of my boys that.

  15. I love this so much! The design is fresh, but it like it has always been there. The ceiling looks great with that style fan and the bookcase turned out great too! We need a cost breakdown!

  17. What a sweet yet thoroughly BOY room. I love how there is an understated 'masculine' vibe throughout the entire room, and the parking signs are pure gold :D

    This room will definitely grow with him, love love LOVE the details, and the ceiling is just wow!

  21. Love it! I have a bunch of old weathered boards that I have been contemplating using on our basement ceiling. Wasn't sure how it would look though. This has given me an awesome visual to go on.   30. I am totally digging that ceiling!!! What a cool element to have in a boy's room - so rustic, and it just screams "BOY"! I think I have the same quilt on my son's bed, so that's obviously in stellar taste as well, right? ;-)

  42. Awesome! Love the pallet ceiling! You need to look into a sliding barn door for that closet. There are several to look at on Pinterest. We got the hardware for ours on Amazon for around $70 and made the door out of pine and pallet boards.
