I was just thinking last night, "Shoot, why did we donate our hand-held vacuum to the church?" And lo and behold:
I've had several Sharks and LOVED them. I hate sweeping floors and you can imagine all the treasure I'd have on my kitchen floor with two little boys. Hate breakin' out the ol' broom and dust pan 27 times a day to sweep up crumbs. Ugh. So I'm SOO excited to have another Shark in our home!! And this one can detach into a hand-held. Awesome:)
So on top of the Shark box was this note:
And out in the entry was this little green guy.
We spotted him several weeks ago at an antique store. We both loved how rustic yet charming this little bench was. Plus, at 36", it was the perfect size for our new mudroom.
Love all the chippy, paint-dripped goodness of this bench!
And this note was on top of the bench.
It says, "Sorry no R's left" at the bottom. Those are letter stickers that Ryder loves to play with...that explains the missing R's. And the arrow was pointing to this bag.
True Value--we have plenty of those bags these days:)
Inside was this note:
And this cutie we spotted last night at the greenhouse while picking out our tree. Mitch and Ry went back and got it for me. It's a planter. And a bird and oh so cute.
Mitch and I are going out to eat tonight after dropping the kids off at my parents' house (possibly the greatest gift of all) then Mitch is taking off Wed and Thurs and we're gallivanting across the countryside shopping at antique stores, GW, wherever we choose. Doesn't that sound amazing? Oh and by countryside, I just mean Lancaster County, aka our neck o' the woods.
I'm truly bless to have a family who loves me and knows how to make me feel special. Thank you, Mitch for my gifts!
