Christmas Arrangements

I was feeling a little crafty the other day (something that rarely happens) and decided to make a Christmas arrangement with some greens. I bought two bundles of Christmas tree branches and added some more from around the yard in the form of holly and boxwoods.

I've been seeing a lot of blue in Christmas decorating this year so I decided to use this cute little planter I had in my potting shed.

I bought some floral foam at a local greenhouse.

And started trimmin' and stickin'.

It needed some color so I added these little red ornaments which I attached with those trash bag twisty ties.

I added some twigs to give it more dimension.

I liked the results so I threw one together for our bathroom too. Oh what a festive little crafter I am!

Merry Merry!

  1. So cute and festive! :) I love the container in your bathroom.

  2. This is beautiful! I love using fresh greenery at the holidays. Love the twigs too!

  3. Did you get an email telling you about this comment? Just hit reply and it will come back to me.
Anyway the arrangements look great and they will last for a long time. I am really loving the blue you used and of course the milk glass. This is the first year I didn't decorate with my milk glass.

  4. Beautiful! Btw just saw your kitchen over at MUSS and it's looking fab!
