A Week (or so) in Pictures

I know it's been a while so I'll just show you what we've been up to this past week. First we got slammed with a ridiculous snow storm in OCTOBER. Totally uncalled for. But at least the kids enjoyed it.

Mitch and I primed the bathroom. Woot woot. I rolled and he did the annoying part of painting each.and.every crevice. It literally took him hours. God bless Mitchell Todd.

Then we celebrated Bryce's 2nd birthday:)

Finished up a project (more on that in a later post)

Started a new one.

While watching this amazing game.

Game 6 of the World Series. One of the best I've ever seen--and that's sayin' something considering I watched pretty much every game of the unbelievably exciting Phillies season of '93. (I know that means nothing to about 99% of you.) Oh well. Still a good game.

Halloween

Ryder wanted to be something "scary," but I'm catchin' a glimpse of a smile behind that Transformers mask. B was so cute in his lion costume and got lots of compliments from the grandmas and grandpas handing out candy.

And finally I've been eating a lot of these:

Veggies, that is. I started a 21 day cleanse this week (Day 5, what up?) These are of the roasted variety--my fave way to eat 'em. Toss with some EVOO, sprinkle with a little S & P, throw 'em in the oven at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes, and BAM you have some roasted veggies. Delish. I'm pretty much eating veggies, fruit, and shakes for 21 days. Plus a butt-load of supplements. My insides are thanking me. My taste buds, not so much.

Hope you all have had a great week and have an even better weekend. See ya next week!

  1. Can't believe all that snow. I would be crying. Bathroom looks great, you are getting so close! Your little trick or treaters are adorbs, I would have given them all of the twix and snickers they could have eaten. Do tell more about the cleanse!

  2. You have been a very busy lady! Your little trick-or-treaters are awfully cute -- glad they enjoyed the snowstorm, but I can understand your feelings about it! Good luck with your cleanse. You are a braverlady than me!
