Paint Is My Friend

Remember this cabinet I showed you about a week or so ago?

I painted it.

But it ended up being too poopish-brownish-tan.

So I got a quart of Ben Moore's exterior oops paint at my local hardware store.

Ahh...much better. It's hard to see the difference on the computer, but it's a much better improvement. I added these "glass" knobs I had lying around. Don't know if they'll stay or not. I'm kinda feelin' some antique brassy ones. We'll see.

One more project crossed off the list. Well, I still need to repair/paint the bottom portion, but hey, at least the top is done:)

  1. This looks great! I can totally tell the difference between the first and second color, and the second is beautiful :)

  4. SO pretty! I just got a cabinet similar to this but with glass doors and I'm still pondering what color to paint it. Gray is certainly a top contender. :)

  9. That is a great colour (beats the poopish brown, although I couldn't tell that from my monitor lol)

I also love the knobs for the elegance factor.

Thanks for sharing at my first blog party; it's not a party without your participation.
