Blog Stuff

I want to note a few changes around the ol' blog. First up, check out my own domain name up there. Yeah baby! No more blogspot.com for me--straight up mapleleavessycamoretrees.COM! (Okay, it's been like that for a while now but I'm just now getting around to mentioning it--bonus points for you if you noticed on your own.)

Secondly, HOLY HUGENESS!

I widened my margins so now I can make my pictures larger. So no more squinto on your part. (More bonus points if you understood that.) It's like a breath of fresh air, isn't it? Ahh...love it.

I'm making more changes around here so it might be weird for a little bit. Like, I have no idea why a post I wrote months ago just reappeared last night on Google reader. Who knows. I want to make my blog easier to navigate, my header needs expanding (get down on it, Keith), and other tweaks here and there. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Let me update you on the renovations. For those of you who are new to MLST, we're slowly renovating our two car garage into a master suite, dining area, and mudroom. This past weekend, Mitch knocked out a chunk of work in the mudroom and it's really starting to take shape. Here are some shots.

This wall is right when you walk in. I love my boards! They'll go all the way up to the ceiling.

And on an unrelated note, here's the barn door all primed and painted. Eek!

Also, I have to thank you all for reading MLST. It's been a year since my first post and I'm so thankful that people are interested in reading about the happenings around here. So...thank you. And I promise you, there will be lots to see in this upcoming year. We're hoping that our reno will be done soon--like in the next couple months. There will be plenty to report, so stay tuned! And invite your friends to tag along:)

  3. The barn door is awesome and I love the changes to your blog. I think it's super important to have your photos as large as possible. That's what everyone is really looking at for the most part. Cool that you got rid of the blogspot. Big time!!
