Renovation Progression

I don't think I've shared pictures of our renovation yet. We're in the process of converting our garage into a master suite, mudroom, and dining area. Here is where we're at with everything.

This will be where the bathroom double vanity is going.

Shower stall and toilet will be under the window.

Bath tub will be in this corner. This might be the most exciting part of the reno considering we don't currently have a tub. The kids (and me!) are going to love it.

All the water lines done by Mitch himself.

  Master bedroom window.

With a lovely view.

This is where the master closet is going. We're having built-ins made by our cabinet maker and they'll be on the left and right sides (his and hers) with an alcove in the middle where a little dresser will go and (someday) a tv up on the wall. On the other side of the framing are the stairs going down to our finished basement.

This is looking to the bathroom from the bedroom. The wall on the left will have a barn door hanging on it to function as the bathroom door.

Mudroom/laundry room. There's my campaign dresser in the foreground that I'm working on.

Hall closet.

New old doors. The one on the left will be our new front door and the super dusty one on the right will hang on the hall closet. I scored both of them at the Re-Store. I was so excited when I stumbled across these--especially the one on the left. It has such character and is a beautiful solid oak door. Of course they both need a little TLC before they shine like the stars that I know they are.

Closeup of the dentil molding detail. Absolutely love this feature.

Bottom panel.

So there's a little of the goings on here at my house. We're hoping to really get crackin' here on the renovations when the weather gets a little warmer. So hopefully soon I'll be able to show you some drywalling going on!
